With one day to shoot interviews & overlay for each course, we had the challenge of making every course’s video content unique while still staying true to the QUT brand, which is polished but authentic stories featuring real students.
The courses included were Industrial Design, Visual Communication, Fashion, Contemporary Art and Interaction Design.
Shot by cinematographer Brian Loewe an important part of this series was ensuring that the content appeared as visually engaging and aesthetic as possible, while still being real. We had to balance giving each interview in the video its own flavour while still looking like part of the same series.
Though we were making 5 unique course videos, the brief also required shorter videos for social media. Working with the QUT marketing team, we devised a modular video content format that allowed us to make the absolute most out of our footage and get them the best bang for buck from their video budget.
