Based in Brisbane/Meanjin, Luis is a dynamic filmmaker whose visual style blends cinematic polish with raw creative energy. As part of the Stranger Films roster, he brings a unique background that spans national sports broadcasting and the underground art scene — giving his work both technical precision and artistic edge.

Before joining Stranger, Luis directed and produced content for major sporting networks including Rugby Australia, Water Polo Australia, Netball Queensland, Kayo Sports, and Stan Sport, before turning his focus toward more expressive storytelling through music videos, fashion, and short films.

He’s also the co-founder of House of Iris, a creative collective that has hosted workshops and exhibitions for over a hundred Brisbane photographers and featured in Brisbane Fashion Week AU and the Brisbane Street Art Festival.

At Stranger, Luis channels that same creative spirit into crafting bold, story-driven campaigns that connect culture, movement, and emotion through film.
